iOS 5.0.1 Build 9A406. Fix Battery and SIM Card Issues

Apple released a newest build into its latest iOS 5.0.1. The firmware supposedly fixes battery issues in iPhone 4s, and also a known issue with Micro SIM cards, where the phone would return an error with either "No SIM", "Searching Network" or "Invalid SIM".

If you are an iPhone 4s owner, you should be running with iOS 5.0.1 build 9A405. The latest Apple release of their "innovative" mobile operating system, claims to fix issues with known micro SIM and battery.

I personally don't see much of an issue with the current iOS 5.0.1. Battery works as normal, maybe it should last longer, but I don't think it's as critic as I've heard.

Anyways, for you to take advantage of the so called build update, you may download the firmware from here. To install it, simply open iTunes and restore your phone using the firmware by either holding shift or alt/option on a Mac and then hit the Restore button in iTunes. Then select the new firmware.
