Facebook Timeline Review!

I have been given the opportunity to test the new feature that everyone will talk about in a few days, also known as Facebook Timeline. An amazing new way to look at your profile from the first day you were born, to the day you're reading this. If you would like to learn more about it, check this post out!

Facebook is definitively the most greatest company causing a global impact on this past decade. More people around the world knows about Facebook. Even companies are more involved with the social network than in any other network media. For example, Dell Ing. is currently offering a "Facebook Mentoring Certification" for employees, so that they can participate from all media content within Dell's Facebook page.

Here's how my profile in Facebook looks like now:

I once believed that Facebook would be just a great way to share with your family or friends about those good old moments that once were posted in your profile. When Facebook enabled the ability to download (or back up) your profile information, I thought it was just a great method to go back to memories and remember what stupid stuff you once posted.

Today I noticed I was given the opportunity to join into a new Facebook phase and feature described as "Facebook Timeline". As described "Is your collection of all the photos, posts, and apps that tell your story."

First thing I noticed, is the timeline on the right side. You can go back by years and you can actually add information since the day you were born (see image above). The greatest feature is, that you can actually go by years and months, and see what you posted, who you became friends with, what you liked, and what apps you liked (see image below).

Facebook's done great things, it has also failed a lot (cough cough chat cough). Nevertheless, Facebook is one way I have had the opportunity to get in touch with old pre-school partners, and high school people I thought I'd never heard of again.

This last Facebook's improvement reminds me of how Apple always introduce new products into the market. They do it at a moment just when they know it will be a hit. Let's hope new Facebook's Timeline gets all users happy to share their stuff in a new way I personally love.
