It has come to my attention that after the release of firmware build 9A406 for iPhone 4S, some users are still experiencing issues with the "no service" or "invalid SIM". Well I am currently facing issues with it, and just upgraded and restored to factory settings with no luck.
I somehow realized that using regular standard SIM cards works however. It only fails when using Micro SIM cards. I tested my MicroSIM in another iPhone 4 and it works fine. Testing a known good MicroSim fails too. And testing a regular but cut standard SIM works in my iPhone 4s.
I will be researching on this throughout the week to determine the root of the problem. In the meantime we have contacted the Dev Team to attempt to get any information from them. If you have any feedback, please tweet me to my twitter account here.
